Calvinism is proof that the concept of god as an all-kowing, all-mighty and all-benevolant being is flawed. E. g. all-knowing means god has to liberty to act as the future is fixed and here goes all-mightyness. E. g. predestination is a torture for humans and torture is something a benevolent god would not do. The more you think about these concepts the more you recognize how stupid they are. T.U.L.I.P is the product of a sick mind.

The Greek for "know" means knowledge and "foreknow" means to know before. It has nothing to do with love. It is similar for ידע in Gen. 4:1 where it means they had sex. It is a discrete Hebrew euphemism. Of course Adam loved Eve, but God wants us to know they had sex and that procreation was part of his divine plan. Gen. 25:28 when speaking of Jacob's love for Rebeka, the Hebrew word אהב is used which is the Hebrew verb meaning love. That is not used in Gen. 4:1. Of course, Dr. Lawson knows this but when all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail. That is, when you bring a human system to your hermeneutic, you will interpret Scripture according to your human presupposition no matter what. It is called eisegesis. I once heard him say during a panel discussion that if someone did not interpret the Bible as he did, they did not know the Bible (ignorance). I call that statement arrogance.
